Please let us know of any access needs you have (eg. dietary restrictions, mobility and other accessibility needs). If indicating for your guest(s), please also list their name and table. Please note the breakfast is vegetarian by default.


When is the event?

Friday, March 6. Doors open at 6:30 a.m.


When will I receive my tax receipt?

We will begin processing tax receipts after ticket sales close.


Return policy

What happens if I purchase a ticket and can’t make it to the event?

Registration for this event is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or donate to allow a community member to attend the Breakfast.


Tax receipts

How much is the tax receipt for?

All individuals who purchase tickets will receive a tax receipt for the eligible portion of their ticket(s). A $40 tax receipt will be issued for early-bird tickets; a $50 tax receipt will be issued for regular priced tickets; $400 for early-bird tables of 10 tickets and $500 for regular tables of 10 tickets. The benefit or non-receiptable amount for each ticket is $50.


Where does the tax receipt go?

Tax receipts will be sent to the billing address of the ticket purchaser.


Can I purchase a table and split up the tax receipts?

As we transition to a new database, we’re also updating our systems to bring them into greater compliance with CRA regulations, and therefore we are not  able to split up tax receipts between multiple people who were not the original purchaser of the table.



How are seats assigned?

Individual ticket holders are seated on a first-come basis on the morning of the event. Open tables will be marked by a coloured balloon and ushers will be present to help direct you.

Event sponsors and those who have purchased tables have reserved seating, which is assigned on a first-purchase, first-serve basis.


Table options

What are the options for organizing a group of people to sit together at a table?

Option 1: You can pay for the table (10 seats) and receive one tax receipt for the eligible portion.

Option 2: You can organize a table by having all guests separately purchase individual tickets, and then combine 10 paid tickets into a table reservation. To request a table reservation (consisting of 10 individual ticket holders), contact before Monday, March 2, with:

1) the Eventbrite order numbers of all 10 purchased tickets, along with the guest names; and

2) thename you would like to appear on the table directory. Your request will be processed ONLY after all 10 ticket purchases have been confirmed. You will receive a final confirmation from West Coast LEAF.

What’s on the menu, and what about dietary needs?

The menu is coming soon and is vegetarian. For other dietary requests, please note your dietary requirements in your ticket order OR email by Monday, March 2.



What are the accessibility details for this event?

West Coast LEAF provides American Sign Language interpretation, and the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, including the BC Ballroom, is wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you would benefit from ASL interpretation so that we can ensure that you have appropriate seating. For those who use a wheelchair or other assisted mobility device, we would like to reserve you a fully accessible seat and ensure that someone is on site to offer assistance. The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is transit accessible. It is two blocks from the Canada Line’s Vancouver City Centre station or SkyTrain’s Granville station, and is on many bus routes. The hotel’s parking facility is adjacent to the hotel and offers above and underground stalls. You may also use the street parking for a maximum time of two hours. It is metered from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. Please note that the event will end at 9:30 a.m. and you may need to attend to your parking meter.
