Day-to-day equality issues are affected by legislation. West Coast LEAF tracks existing and proposed legislation and responds to governments when it affects gender equality and human rights.
West Coast LEAF monitors legislation and makes submissions to legislative committees, politicians, and government officials to change historic patterns of systemic discrimination. We prepare position papers on issues impacting gender equality. We also support legal and human rights campaigns organized by other groups.
