2018 Annual General Meeting

November 1, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Program details

You are invited to join West Coast LEAF staff and Board as we premiere our short video on the law of sexual consent in Canada, a resource that is particularly timely at this moment in our culture and history.

Part of our project Only Yes Means Yes, this animated video was created in collaboration with the members of an advisory committee of more than 25 diverse post-secondary students and in consultation by post-secondary staff and community members who shared input about how to make the project relevant and inclusive to post-secondary students in all their diversity. The video is part of our newest public legal education project on consent and sexual assault for BC post-secondary students.

A brief business meeting and the election of new board members will be followed by the video presentation and a reception featuring light refreshments, a cash bar, and a chance to connect with West Coast LEAF staff, leadership, and our community of supporters.
