Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Celeste Cuthbertson and Kathleen Renaud! We are excited to be working with both of them this summer and we are grateful for their already meaningful contributions to our work.

Summer 2018 Legal Interns Celeste and Katie standing on the steps of the Vancouver Law Courts. They were attending a case planning conference for our legal aid test case.
Celeste Cuthbertson
Celeste is jazzed to be joining West Coast LEAF after completing her second year at Dalhousie Law. Originally from Mission, BC, she has a BA from UBC in Political Science and Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice. Her passion to effect systemic change has strengthened during her time at Dal and her involvement with the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association. She is particularly interested in reforming sexual assault law and family law issues. She enjoys kickboxing and surrounding herself with as many puppies as possible.
Kathleen Renaud
Joining West Coast LEAF is a dream come true for Kathleen, who is in her third year of law school at the University of Alberta where she is Vice-Chair of the Women’s Law Forum. Her road to becoming a lawyer has included stints in government, communications, museums, and graduate studies at the University of Cambridge. Outside of work, Kathleen can be found taking in a concert, reading under a tree, or continuing her quest to find Vancouver’s best cup of coffee.
