Important updates

We have limited capacity to offer workshops until further notice, due to a staffing limitation. Please be aware that if you request a workshop, we may need to add you to a contact list and update you if/when we are booking workshops.

We have stopped delivering in-person workshops until further notice, to reduce the threat to community health posed by COVID-19. We continue to offer our Youth in the Workplace and PowerPlay workshops via Zoom. Our No Means No and TrendShift workshops, which deal with violence, have been suspended because of concern for the safety and well-being learners who may be accessing these workshops from an unsafe home environment. If you have questions or requests, please email youth [at] westcoastleaf [dot] org.

We believe that when youth understand the law and think critically about it, they are more likely to stand up for their rights and others’ rights. For this reason, we have been offering interactive workshops in schools and the community for 20 years, educating youth about their legal rights. We can work with you to tailor each workshop to the unique needs of your group. Learn more about the intentions and values that guide our public legal education.

For details about each of our youth workshops, please follow the links below. Please note that youth workshops usually need to be booked at least six weeks in advance.
